The Heart Behind the Brand

“Before you place your order, please take a moment to read my testimony. It shares why I’m so passionate about baking and what inspires every treat I make.

When my mum died at 16, everything shifted. There was no safety net, no therapy, no guidance. I was forced to step into survival mode. I started working multiple jobs on rotation just to stay afloat, sleeping on a toddler bed, exhausted and alone. I pushed myself so far that my body eventually gave out, and the stress led to a hidden disability I carry with me to this day.

At 17, a grown man (my colleague) at my workplace, more than double my age, sent me a very explicit photo and initiated things that I should have been protected from. When I told the manager, they didn’t take it seriously, mocked and spread it around. There was no safeguarding, no protection. In that moment, I felt overlooked and unseen. Shortly after, a colleague came up to me and asked, “Why did you tell the manager?” I was just a teenager. I genuinely believed from that moment that I was not important. That my voice didn’t matter.

At 18, while earning minimum wage, I nearly faced homelessness. I messaged my father to tell him what I was going through. His reply: “It’s good. It’s okay to struggle. I’ve been there.” That’s when I realised I was on my own. I put myself into debt just to get my first apartment. Not because I had a plan, but because I had no other option. And yet, through all of it, I still believed. Not in people. Not in the system. But in God.

At 19, I entered a relationship that was meant to break me. I faced physical and emotional abuse, but God never left my side. When the relationship ended with him having a child by someone else, it revealed the spiritual weight of that pain. Though it was a painful season, it shaped my healing and purpose. What tried to destroy me only made God’s calling on my life stronger, and fuels my passion to create safe spaces for women who feel voiceless and forgotten.

That belief is what birthed this brand. This isn’t just about cake. It’s about rebuilding women through care, creativity, and calling.

Every order you make helps fund a greater vision: a future where women who’ve faced hardship have not only shelter, but space to heal. Many women are quietly battling trauma, spiritual warfare, and financial struggle, and they’ve had to bury their gifts just to survive. But I believe survival isn’t enough. I believe in restoration.

This is more than baking. It’s a building. And I won’t stop. As long as God gives me breath in my body and life in my bones, I will keep going. Because I know what it’s like to have nothing, and still believe.

And now, I believe for them.

My story didn’t end in survival. God turned my pain into purpose, and today, every part of this brand carries a mission bigger than cake.
